So I See You Have Been Working Out A Lot This Year.

If you are reading this now you probably have been working out a lot this year with your fingers and might be interested in something that can help reduce the stress placed on your hands if you are a hard core finger addict on the keyboard.  I found out about RSI Guard while having dinner with friends and saying that my hands were sore. My friend, who is in the technology industry, works on the computer 8-10 hours straight each day said RSI Guard had been helpful to him and had been recommended by his boss who also uses the program. (http://www.rsiguard.com/index.htm).

RSI Guard is a desktop software program that reduces the impact of repetitive strain injuries on fingers and hands for individuals who are on the computer several hours a day. It is designed to monitor computer usage and remind you when it's time to take a break from the keyboard. Stretching exercises are provided via video that you can do during the break if you so choose.

It also has some features (AutoClick) that allow you to configure your mouse to reduce clicking which can be helpful if you are on the computer for long periods of time. Additionally, you can configure the keys (KeyControl) to perform multiple keystrokes with one key press.

There is a 45 day free trial and if you decide to purchase a single copy the current cost ranges $40-$65 based on the version you select. It takes a bit of getting use to but after that it can be very helpful for people who are working out a lot (on the keyboard) and feeling the pain.

Happy Holidays to all and I wish you a successful, safe and wonderful year to come.
